Provides full-time, family-type living arrangements in a private home, in which a person or persons who own/rent and live in the home provide room, board, and personal services, as appropriate for the level of functional impairment, for no more than 5 aged or disabled people, who are not relatives.

Costs
Can be paid for by private funds, some insurance policies, state programs through the Department of Children and Families (if eligible), or Medicaid Assistive Care Services (if both the individual & the AFCH are eligible).
